They're having $10 unagi bento set that is HEAVENLY! Some of their premium sushi is also pretty good. we also went to watch "thank you for not smoking" which is HILARIOUS and brilliantly written. A must-see at the new Cathay (yes, we're old, laggard and very not up to date), which has a lovely bar-lounge with an excellent ex-Shangri La bar tender who provides great service. they're having a 2 SG sling + 6 mid-wing snack for $20 promotion right now. And yes, those ARE 3 std drinks in each SG sling.  So over dinner, he's *ahem* whining about how he has to go for commencement and how he got a scolding from his parents because he didn't wanna go.
